Grief is a powerful emotion that can quickly become all consuming. It can negatively affect each and every aspect of our lives if not nurtured and treated in a healthy way. As your partner and guide in healing grief, my number #1 priority is to create a safe, supportive space so that we have the opportunity to fully explore the root causes of your grief. As your guide I will build a specialized program of healing that will equip you with the tools to not only assist you through your grieving process but also the tools that can be used throughout the rest of your life when you find yourself in disheartening and painful situations.

During our healing sessions we will start by taking a comprehensive explorative journey into the root causes of your grief. We will begin to address your grief head on through both acknowledgment and therapeutic conversation. Your healing sessions will be custom crafted to fit your individual needs based on what we uncover through our therapeutic discussions. Your sessions will include support that will come in a variety of combinations including introduction to therapeutic release techniques, mindful living practices, healthy coping, sound healing and moving, still and/or guided meditation practices.

Whether or not you are in an active season of grief it is always important to start building an arsenal of mindfulness practices that can support you throughout your daily life. If we live long enough it is inevitable that we all will go through some sort of grief experience and journey throughout our lives. But the real question is do you have the tools in place to keep you grounded and stable when life hands you these difficult circumstances?
I think it is very important to note that these mindfulness practices will not completely take away your pain or your grief! However, what they will do is to allow you to cultivate and create an overall since of inner calm and peace. These practices can equip you with the ability to acknowledge the painful emotions and feelings that may come up but also the ability to release them. These practices will give you something to hold on to at your deepest and darkest moments when you are in the eye of the storm.

WHY DID I DECIDE TO SHARE A COMBINATION OF THERAPEUTIC MINDFULNESS PRACTICES TO SUPPORT INDIVIDUALS THROUGH THEIR GRIEF JOURNEY?
My own personal journey of navigating through grief began over 16 years ago when I lost my mother to rare form of cancer. Only 3 short months later I lost one of my nearest and dearest friends to a senseless act of violence. After these painful losses I fell into living a very unhealthy mental, emotional and physical lifestyle. I battled with depression, self- medication and suicidal ideation for years.
After nearly a decade of floundering in life being angry, full of pain, heartache and despair the powerful practice of yoga found, cradled and set me on my journey to healing. This practice allowed me to discover and explore therapeutic ways to navigate through my grief. This was the practice that ultimately lead me to another life changing practice known as sound healing.
In this journey I share some of the practices that have been most powerful in creating transformational shifts not only along my healing journey but throughout my life. I have created and shared this journey so that you won’t have to flounder for nearly a decade before you begin to release the pain, grief and feelings of anxiousness while calling in healing, calm and inner peace.

I am the first to acknowledge how complex grief and the emotions that come with it can be to understand. I also understand that it can be even more difficult to navigate through them. Grief is often a lonely journey. A journey where we often put on a brave face to the world but we are literally falling to pieces inside and have no where to lay our burden.
